I dont see the use for this. When you click "Create Ticket" just have it immediately open the batch setup screen with order info. Then the user can input driver/truck.
Yes, but it is yet another set of actions using quick ticket instead of the order going straight to the batch setup screen. All these un-necessary acitons is what frustrates users, just like the space bar to clear a drop down. Any other software with any application has everything on the drop down regardless of existing content.
The Batch Setup Form should be open if your role is batcher. Then the Quick Ticket form will have the Create Ticket and Batch Setup buttons available. The idea of this quick ticket form is for a 2nd user, Order taker/Dispatcher to create tickets from their workstation. Then the batch operator would see these appear on the batch setup stack.
